              FESTIVAL OF CHRISTMAS

         SHARING IS CARING CAMPAIGN

Christmas is the perfect time to reach out to those in need with a hot meal, cheerful music, and warm fellowship. Our annual Festival of Christmas does just that for hundreds lower-income Thoroughbred industry workers and their immediate families.

For those of us who have plenty, it’s easy to relax and enjoy the pageantry, glory and splendor of Christmas, but for those who can’t afford a gift for their children, it is a sad season.  That’s why we do this Festival of Christmas – so that all can know and experience the peace and joy that Christ came to give each of us. Would you be a part of this by fulfilling one of the needs listed?

We welcome and will acknowledge all individuals or businesses who wish to be a sponsor of the event.  You may even designate your cash contribution to a certain area of need.  This is a great time for your office or Sunday school class to adopt BGFC and help us provide these families with dinner and gifts.  You can be assured that your gift is reaching someone right here in Central Kentucky. Workers who need a helping hand during the holiday season are referred to us by management or the chaplains at BGFC or Keeneland, and an invitation is given to them to attend.

Our goal is to provide each child under 13 with a nice toy, new hat and gloves, a stuffed animal, candy, a story book, crayons and coloring book.

Children 13 – 18 who are still in school receive a $15 gift card from Wal-Mart.

All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed.  BGFC’s Tax I.D.. # is 20-0374962.
