Community Support

The staff and Board of Directors of Blue Grass Farms Chaplaincy are committed to receiving input and interfacing with racing related organizations and farm owners and managers and working within the breeding industry to organize and support an effective farm ministry. Considerable effort and time will be allocated to determining particular needs and working with appropriate racing related agencies and personnel to assemble a farm Chaplaincy program that will benefit workers and farm managers alike. Our Chaplain will be fully bilingual and our Chaplaincy program all inclusive. We will provide assistance to all farm workers, regardless of race, creed, religion or socioeconomic status. In particular we will assist those that are Spanish-speaking and educationally and financially challenged. We will reach out into the greater Lexington area to secure resources and financial support. We will strive to promote a sense of community among local clergy, helping agencies and the local Thoroughbred breeding industry.
